“Combining my love for kayaking with my passion for the harp, I created this video based on a piece I wrote about 15 years ago. River Right Rhumba is based on the drumming patterns of West Africa.
We filmed the clips on the Little North Fork of the North Santiam, and also at the Avery Park dinosaur bones. Isabelle Gatien, Laura Jost and Jeff Parsons did the camera work, and I did the editing. My harp is a Thormahlen Celidh. Best folk harp ever. My boat is a Dagger RPM. Best kayak ever.
