This Sunday we are privileged to hear from the Rev. Rob Kirby, the new campus minister at Westminster House.
Rob is a United Methodist Clergy colleague who has recently been serving with United Campus Ministry (an ecumenical partnership) at Montana State University / Billings Campus. Prior to that Rob served as Associate Director of the Wesley Foundation (United Methodist Campus Ministry) at the University of Illinois. Rob brings great experience with and commitment to interfaith/multi-faith partnerships, LGBTQ and other social justice concerns, and a strong connection with International student ministry. I trust that Rob will be engaged with and will bring great gifts to both our OSU and Corvallis community. And I also trust that you will welcome him generously into our community and opportunities for collaboration around the common good of our community.
Rob, his wife Darcie and their two high school daughters arrived in Corvallis in August, while their son, Chet, began his first year at Montana State University / Bozeman Campus.
If you cannot join us in person, we will be attempting to stream, now in High Definition, throughinternet streaming.

November Challenge Offering:
Our ministry of hospitality at Westminster House seeks to embody a progressive and inclusive Christian faith that:
*Includes all students in celebrating the diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, financial circumstances and faith background.
*Creates a safe space in which to ask questions, dig into exploring one’s faith, doubts and struggles.
*Grounds us into our own understanding of Jesus the Christ as our path to God while seeking to be in relationship and dialogue with those of other faith traditions.
*Serves God and creation faithfully through learning about and acting upon peace and justice issues.
