Sarah Circle
Sarah Circle meets the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in members’ homes. The 2019-2020 Horizons Bible Study is based on the book Love Carved in Stone: A Fresh Look at the Ten Commandments by Eugenia Anne Gamble with Suggestions for Leaders by Joyce MacKichan Walker.
What would it mean to consider the Ten Commandments not as a harsh list of what not to do but, instead, as a “love letter” from a loving God? A fresh embrace of the Ten Commandments (or Words), the author suggests, may ultimately contribute to the restoration of ourselves and our communities and the furthering of the gospel in the world. Love Carved in Stone is a Bible study that helps us reframe the way we look at and live in the world.
Become a part of this rewarding study group! Contact Betty Miner at 541-757-8949 for additional information.

Our Mission Projects
Using funds generated from contributions, offerings, receptions, and gifts of time and talent, Presbyterian Women gave to others in the following ways during 2018-2019:
~ In addition to our annual monetary gifts to Birthday Offering, Thank Offering, and Least Coin, we contributed funds to our Church Library, Westminster House, Community Outreach, Church Window Project, Grace Center, Friendship with Cambodia and Presbyterian Preschool and Child Care Center.
~ Piecemakers is an ecumenical family of quilters who donate their time and talent in our community and beyond. Thanks to the support of this congregation with gifts of fabric and the annual quilt show, sale, and raffle, the group donated 184 beautiful quilts — 101 to Vina Moses, eight to Evergreen Hospice and 75 to the ABC House. Piecemakers also had a quilt sale on church property the Saturday of Fall Festival. It was very successful and will become an annual event.
Piecemakers gather each Wednesday from 9-11am in the church basement for good work and fellowship (Sept. 11th through mid-May). Please join us!
