Love Overflows! Family Worship & Communion

Family Worship
Family Worship means that kids in Kindergarten on up stay in worship with us. However, we don’t expect them to act like adults and we try and make our worship kid friendly.
Ways we will do this tomorrow: Invite kids to lead us in singing “Peace Like A River”,  More explanation about what we do in worship and communion and why, a kid friendly visual sermon, and an emphasis on the fact that kid’s noises are joyful noises that we are thankful to have in our congregation.  As usual, we have activity bags available for kids in worship and nursery care available for those under 5.No matter what your age I think you’ll find Sunday’s service worshipful, joyful, and meaningful.

Rev. Matt Gough

Welcome!
Hello

First Presbyterian is a gathering of vibrant and diverse people seeking to be God’s people in Corvallis and beyond. We begin with belonging so that everyone is welcome.
I hope to see you in worship but if you cannot be with us this Sunday in worship you can join us through streaming.
Best,
Matt

Worship Theme

Paul writes that we are like earthen vessels filled with a treasure beyond measure. However, often we feel like we are just a bunch of cracked pots.  Come and celebrate just how those cracks actually become places where God ‘s love overflows.

Singers! Help lead Hymns this Summer!

It is always nice to have some voices up on the Chancel to help lead us in singing hymns. I hear it is also nice for the people watching our service through web-streaming to more clearly hear voices when we sing. If you sign up to sing and have a favorite hymn you’d like us to sing then I’ll put it in the service!

Sign up for the dates you can sing here.
